These were purchased for work at a manufacturing plant. Good support and cushioning for concrete floors, bonus of electrical/static protection. Feeling of steel-toe is negligible compared to other brands.
Slip-on is convenient for air travel to job sites. Doesn’t look like a typical safety shoe so can be worn in casual office environment.
Price is worth it, even if employer doesn’t give reimbursement for safety gear.

These are just the best shoes I have found in my 45 years of working in any location.
They are in fact very durable and are extremely comfortable.
When I went online and found them I was relieved knowing I can still get another pair.
I just have to have my Florsheim’s.
Even my stylish lady friend loves the things for their quality and go anywhere looks,she says “if they make you feel good then they work for me to” adding “sheimies” “look so good on a man why buy anything else”. 😀

I work on concrete floor 8 hours six days/week, step on/off standing forklift, walk in circles.
My last pair was the same (except lace up model) and the polyurethane soles and insoles are awesome they don’t go “flat” even after more than a year of use. I added a met guard to support my arches. I’ve worn other more expensive brands and florsheim surpasses them all in comfort and ergonomics. Please continue to make this model until I retire in 30 years. Slip on, polyurethane, and “comfortech” combined! Sweet!

I was only able to wear these shoes a couple of times. I am on my feet all day on concrete floors in a maufacturing plant. Since these were bought online and worn not able to return them,I feel was a waste of money and time.

I’m a Captain of an offshore supply boat and I’m required to wear safety shoes while on watch in the wheelhouse. I’ve had problems finding a shoe that was comfortable since I’m on my feet most of the day. I’ve only been wearing them for a week now. While they still need to be broken in, they feel very good and light weight. I’m considering buying a second pair.

I always purchase the LUCKY steel toe boots (factory floor use) and they last forever and always true to size. Great if you are on your feet for hours. This site deliveres! Great Cusstomer Service.

I bought the shoe because I am getting older and need a slip on shoe with a steel toe. The 24005 model fits the bill perfect for me. I just bought my 3 pair and will continue. I worker for Florsheim for 20 years and know all about what goes into making and the quality they demand from there workers.

I really like these shoes, but I have had a problem with Florsheim shoes lately. Although they are long enough and wide enough, the instep is too low and presses on the top of my foot.

The FS2405 is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever had. Even with the safety toe, it is more comfortable than the casual shoes I have owned, so I wear them everywhere. They hold up well too, I am on my 3rd pair and hope the never stop making them.

I have worn this same shoe for over 10 years. Comfortable and durable. I work on concrete and go all day without foot discomfort.

I wore these shoes at work (retired 4 years ago) and at home for the last 14 years.
They are by far the best, most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have had foot problems since my US Army days 38 years ago. I can work in these shoes all day without any foot discomfort. Please, please never stop making these shoes!!!

I’ve been buying these work shoes for fifteen years only because of the soft rubber soles, great for your back. But the quality for the past 5~6 years has gone down hill. Soles coming apart from the upper leather and bottom slip resistant portion. If I find another work shoe as shock absorbent as these I’m out!
