The shoe is VERY heavy! Feels like the weight of a brick. Don’t need “weights” in work boots since already working, not exercising. They are going back.

As good as the Red Wings I like, but at a much better price!

I have always worn Florsheim boots, because one reason… they are the best!!!
Janky –
These are excellent work boots. They are very comfortable from the start. They are also durable and stands up to hard use. Never had a leak even when standing in hot water with the soles submurged. Traction is excellent and on concrete and steel decking.
The only issue I had was that the rivets were not flush on the inside of the boot and would irritate the top of my feet. I used a hammer and a block and pounded the rivets flush. The boots feel great now. This happened on two pairs I have had.

I’m a union vested Journeyman, forever in love with Florsheim Imperial. Three years ago when I found this pair of boots, I was so happy. One pair, in the harshest of circumstances, in which I work 300 days a year, could last you two years. I am very lucky to have a support system behind me that allows me $200.00 towards a brand new pair of steel toes a year, and after finding these, I’d never consider wearing anything else, because Florsheim is what I wear, and all I wear. They look better than every other work boot, the leather supports me, but is soft and extremely comfortable on the foot and ankle, and the Tech inserts are second to none. Brand loyalty aside, I’ve had them all, be it Chippewa, Red Wing, even custom fits. These are the ones.

These boots are for my husband he said he will not be purchasing them again make a popping noise when he walks. Both right and left boots are defective and would like a replacement pair if possible. Thanks and have a great day.
Douglas –
Lacked support across front bend of ankle; unable to tighten correctly. Lacing points did not work for me.
