Wow, this shoe feels like a slipper, it is so comfortable. I tried on about 8 different oxfords from 8 different brands (all here on Zappos), and this Florsheim was by far the most comfortable out of the box. It doesn’t *feel* like a dress shoe at all, more like a comfy sneaker. And it walks smooth, not a hard clunk like with other brands. I personally don’t care for hard soles, even though it is popular on expensive shoes. These look expensive, and feel like I can stand in them all day. The leather is soft and supple, as is the lining. It reminds me of wearing Clarks Un.structured, which are almost twice the price.

The shoes were comfortable and fit well. Unfortunately, after about month of wearing them, the rubber sole started to peel off the toe part of the left shoe. Contacted customer service and they exchanged them. Unfortunately, after about a month of use, the second pair started to suffer from the exact same problem.
It’s too bad because I like Florsheim’s in general, but there must be something wrong with this particular shoe.

Feels like a comfy house shoe, but looks super professional. Had to purchase a half size smaller, due to them running a bit large. Cognac looks fantastic – watch the eyes of people you walk by at work, and you’ll see half of them glancing down at your shoes. Even better is the comfort – they feel like a house shoe.

I love this shoe. Exactly what I was looking for in a new pair of shoes. Extremely hard to find a stylish show that comes in an extra wide width but this is it.

I bought a brown pair of these shoes about a year ago. I liked them so well, I bought another pair in black a couple months later, and now just bought a second brown pair because I like them so well and was afraid they would stop making them. Not only are they the most comfortable dress shoe I’ve ever owned, but they look very stylish. I’ve received several compliments on them from coworkers, which has never happened with other shoes I’ve worn.

These shoes come about half a size too large. I read reviews that mentioned this fact but the Zappos app said it ran true to size. They don’t. Definitely order half size than normal.
The shoes are definitely comfortable. One the most comfortable dress shoes I’ve ever worn. I will be buying Florsheim shoes now. The cognac color is really great. Now I want a pair in black. Go for them. They are a great shoe!

These shoes are excellent if you have a wide toe box need. I’ve had to resort to wides and/or square toed dress shoes in the past to accommodate my wide toe box needs, but these work just fine in their normal width. Very comfortable, almost tennis shoe like. Well worth the money. I will day that the leather quality is good, but probably not as good as some of the higher end dress shoes you can purchase. That being said, these aren’t designed to be resoled, so I figure if I get 1-2 years out of them and have to replace them so be it, time will tell on that. Marked the fit as feeling wider than advertised as these shoes have a wider toe box than other brands (which is a good thing in my opinion). I bought both black and brown.

These are nicest looking 5E shoes I’ve found to date that are still affordable. Delivered way before the promised date, packaged very well. Shoes look very dressy yet are comfortable. No more fat shoe appearance with these. Hard to believe they are 5E width. Obviously, cannot discuss durability or long-term comfort. So far, better than so good.

I usually wear a 9.5 wide and will sometimes go with a 10 regular if not available. I first ordered these in a 9.5 wide but they were too long. I exchanged them for a 9 wide which fits fine. But I would order a half size smaller than normal.

By far the most comfortable pair of dress shoes I’ve ever worn!! The entire inside of the shoe is lined and padded. Making you foot feel like it’s being hugged by a pillow. I do plan on buying a black pair! Comfortable to wear all day! Very pleased!

If you are looking for a classic cap toe oxford, these are the way to go. Great materials, classic look, moderate arch support, toe box is wide enough. All around excellent shoe. I bought a pair in brown for a wedding (the rental place did not have wide enough shoes for me) and I was so happy with them I bought a pair in black for regular dress wear.

Love this shoe!!! I have to wear dress shoes for 10 hours a day and these fit the bill. Great price, good look, and a nice wide shoe without a squared toe(not in fashion apparently).
I’m 5’10” and 350lb. I have really wide feet and this was far and wide the most comfortable dress shoe I have worn. I don’t like flat footed feeling shoes, i like support. These have better than moderate arch support. Shoe is tall enough you can fit an insole in if you want. The mouth of the shoe where your ankle goes is nice and wide too. Toe box is nice and wide and that’s usually where shoes are too narrow for me. Only thing that would be a con is my feet get a bit sweaty in them and when I take them off at the end o the day i can see some sweat in the sole. Been wearing them 5 days a week for 6 months now and they are holding up great!! To avoid the sweating issue I got these balsa wood inserts that do a great job of keeping me dry. The wood in soles are comfy enough but make your feet feel like they are slipping a bit inside the shoe. Not running a marathon or going up and down steep grades all day so not a big deal. I have these shoes in brown and black. Both look amazing. Shoe is semi glossy. Worn them in the rain, wet grass, and stuffed them in my travel bags. Still look good! My feet do not hurt at the end of the day but occasionally I might have to walk a few miles in industrial complexes with them on and my feet know they aren’t my new balances, but again, do not hurt or feel sore. 10/10 would recommend. I own 3 pairs and absolutely love these shoes!!!

Great fit on the 5E width, did feel like they ran a half size large in length (I’m normally an 11 and had to return and get the 10.5, which fit great) These are very comfortable and I couldn’t be happier. Quality feels very good for the money. I would buy these again in another color with no hesitation. Wore them brand new to Kentucky Derby and didn’t have any “new shoe”

Very pleased with how comfortable they were. I usually wear Slim shoes and it is hard to find shoes even in a Narrow size, but these fit well. If someone looked closely enough, they would see that these are a more casual dress shoe because it is slightly padded around the ankle compared to a traditional men’s dress shoe. However, no one could tell the difference as I wore them walking down the aisle in my son’s wedding.

Fit and size were good. Finish looks good after a few months. My only complaint is that this the shoe is not built for bad weather. On a rainy day water seeps through the toe area and you can end up spending the rest of the day with wet socks and toes. If you are ok with a good weather shoe that is very comfortable then buy it. If you want a shoe that performs better in rain then save your money and look for something with a Goodyear welt.

These shoes seem true to size and fit well. Other brands of narrow oxfords have hurt my feet. These shoes are very comfortable and need minimal break-in.

Fits very well. The toe box is adequately wide. The shoe itself is very comfortable. I haven’t had them long enough to talk about durability.
