My husband has worn this same style and brand of shoe for years. He loves the comfort and slip on ease. The fit is also a big factor since he wears size 6 EEE and has a very high in-step. They are of good quality and he gets many years of wear out of them.

Very lightweight shoe. The soles are not leather, but made of plastic, which may contribute to its light weight. Very comfortable extra wide shoe. True to size.

I am very pleased to say the product was exactly what I hoped for. I received them two days after ordering them. Wow! My new ones are in black and the fit, finish and the sizing are on the money. The leather was so supple that I had the feeling that they had already been broken in. To reiterate, the service from Zappos was outstanding. I’m going out of town next week, timely delivery is obviously important to me. I really wanted to take them and had even considered a local store instead of Zappos. Glad I didn’t. This shoe is the same as the Bostonian Prescott, except it costs more and is not as well constructed. I only purchased this shoe because I couldn’t find the Prescott in brown and I am very disappointed in the quality of construction!

I ordered these shoes as soon as I got an e-mail from Zappos that my size was now in stock. That’s because I’ve had at least two other pairs that I’ve worn out and I gotta have ’em!
These shoes provide an incredible combination of dressy, classic elegance and amazing comfort. You won’t believe how lightweight they are!
The only downside is that they are not extremely durable, especially if they get wet. I don’t use them as every-day shoes. But when it’s time to get dressed up, they feel as good as they look.

If you drag your toe, the front of the sole comes off. I have a weak ankle, and sometimes I drag my toe when I walk. The second time I wore these shoes, the sole around the toe ripped off, and the leather stitching on the toe that was covered by the sole is now pressing on the ground.

I hesitated in buying the shoe as the width was listed as “W (3E)”. I am a true 3E and the normal “W” is not wide enough in most shoes. I was pleasantly surprised to find this was a 3E. I have had many pairs of this shoe over the years and it is one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned. Holds up well, too. Super service from Zappos and received the order sooner than expected.
