The Only Shoe I Wear!
I bought these Lovely Loafers to wear with white socks and jeans and with white socks and shorts in the summer and now they are the ONLY shoes I wear! I bought two more pairs in wine and two in black and I wear them for and with everything, from shorts and knee socks to suits and ties! I love penny loafers anyway and these are the ultimate in style and comfort… I continuously get compliments on them when I show them off with my white socks! Penny loafers freak here, but hey, they’re great shoes…what can I say?

The shoes fit comfortably, and after weeks of wear, they haven’t developed the formaldehyde-stink that other partial leather or made made shoes always do! Solid leather is tougher, more comfortable, and does not stink!

I have been buying Penny Loafers for years. They are easy on, easy off and simple to keep waxed. The shoes are well made and hold up to abuse. They are so good I bought these and had my others resoled with new heels. Just can’t see throwing a good shoe away, just because it needs a little repair.

This is the third pair of this particular shoe that I have purchased from Zappos. This is a classic style that hasn’t changed since the 50’s. The uppers take a great shine and shoe wears very well. I have a very high instep and this shoe is one of the rare slip-on type shoe that fits me comfortably.

The Berkley is basically all leather, but after a breaking in period the shoes are beginning to be as comfortable as moccasins. They’re fancy enough to wear with dress pants, but casual enough to wear with jeans. Great shoes!

This shoe no longer meets my expectation. I have loved this shoe for years and lately (in the last 1-1/2 years) the sole comes apart from the shoe. The first time this happened, Zappos was very good at just replacing the order with a new pair. It has been just at 7 months now (and I do not wear these shoes every day) that the same thing happened, meaning the sole separates from the shoe. There is no glue under the shoe to sole to keep them attached toe each other. Upon contacting customer service this time, I was told that the first time this happened it was a courtesy replacement, and now Zappos suggests I contact the manufacture. I did that last time and the manufacturer said to call Zappos. This is too bad as I like Zappos and Florsheim. However, noting that this shoe is made in India, I can longer want to buy this shoe due to its lack of quality. Too bad as I will look for another manufacturer of a shoe for my needs.

Having a narrow shoe size, local places have none and the people working there are of little help. I found exactly what I was look for and it arrived very quickly through Zappos. Who needs a local shoe store?

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I received my shoes. It was much sooner than the scheduled date. The shoes fit perfectly with a little room to spare. For someone with little to no arch, I would suggest purchasing an arch support or soft gel insole.

Solid basic penny loafer. I wish it came in a wider range of colors, but the burgundy looks handsome in person. If you have a narrow foot, and don’t want to compromise on fit, this is your best bet. Other brands have comparable models, but they either a: don’t come in narrow, or b: aren’t as classically-styled. Also: Zappos gave me free next-day shipping and upgraded me to a VIP membership with this order. Suspiciously good customer service, as always. I wish every retailer was this dedicated.

The shoes were for my husband and he has worn this brand of shoe before and finds it very true to size and comfortable. He is difficult to fit at many shoe stores, so thank goodness for Zappos where I can always find his size.

I have worn Florsheim loafers for the last 30 years and never found another loafer that I liked better. 8-EEE fits me perfectly and my recent purchase was comfortable from day 1. They would be absolutely perfect if they had a little more arch support and heel cushion.

Although I like the style and fit of this shoe the last two pairs I have purchased had an issue. The sole was separating from the rest of the shoe. I think I will look for another brand.

They fit well and were comfortable, however I’m not sure if I got a bad pair because I was only able to wear them every other day for about three weeks before a hole had opened up on the bottom of the leather sole.
