The shoe quality is cheap. It definitely does not represent well the Florsheim standard of quality. However, the service of Florsheim continues to be unparalleled to their competitors.
If you want a semi-comfortable shoe (very little sole support) that will last at best 6 months with daily use, then buy this shoe. Thankfully I got it at a discounted price…. or I would have been quite upset with the purchase. I am a Director of Quality Assurance in a manufacturing company and I know a thing or two about quality.

My son has been dreaming of these shoes for awhile and could not wait to get them for his birthday. He practices moon walking in them up and down our kitchen floor. They are very well made and look so sharp on him! I would say they run a tad big so I might order a smaller size next time. If he wears thick socks with them, they work pretty good

Very durable school shoe, my son does not like shoe laces, so these are perfect. They hold up well over the school year!

Great shoe! My son has to wear black dress shoes to school and these not only look great – they are super comfy. He usually has to try on several pair before finding one that works and this is it. He wear this outside for recess, too. The great thing about these is that they hold up on the black-top and on the playground which is covered with pebbles. No rips or tears – I just polish them and they look like new again! They are true to size. My sons foot is on the narrow side but we got the mediums – he is able to tighten them up with the velcro fastener. Highly recommend!

They are beautiful shoes, excellently made. They’re about an inch longer than my son’s foot but it ended up being just the size he needed. It fits well and doesn’t rub his heels. He has wide feet and these shoes have some give to them so he feels more comfortable in them. I’m happy with them. Zappos has been really great about their return policy too. It’s so easy to return items that don’t fit. Some of their prices seem high but the shoes are high quality and worth the money. Shoes are one necessary item I’d pay extra more just to get something comfortable and durable.

They fit my 12 year old son’s very wide foot well. It’s been hard finding a nice pair of loafers that fit him but these were comfortable on him and didn’t rub his heels. They look good on him too. I’d definitely recommend!

My son has been wearing this same style shoe to school since he was 4! Sadly after this size he is moving into men’s! They are the most durable well made shoes for kids. He is in a private school and has to wear them everyday. They have never torn, scuffed it ripped! He simply out grows them and we move into the next size!

We bought these and a similar Hush Puppies style. These were much softer and more flexible in person and my son greatly preferred them. So far they have held up very well for chapel at school!

These are great shoes! My son needed black dress shoes for chapel and it’s not yet old enough to manage laces. We bought a wide width and it was perfect.
